Onboard.
On the ground.
In operations.
Space missions unfold across three very different environments, and each one imposes its own constraints. On the satellite itself, every gram of memory and every watt of power counts. On the ground, growing volumes of Earth Observation imagery need to be turned into something usable, fast enough to matter. And in the operations room, teams have to act on incomplete information under real time pressure.
We build AI solutions for each of these environments, shaped from the start by the limits of compute, bandwidth and reliability that actually govern the mission.
Solutions
Onboard Intelligence
AI that runs directly on the satellite, turning raw signal into a decision in real time. Built for the limits of compute and power that actually govern onboard hardware.
Ground Processing
Large-scale processing of EO imagery on the ground. From fusing multiple sources to enhancing resolution, built to handle the volume and speed the mission needs.
Mission Operations
Mission documentation and satellite telemetry, turned into fast, traceable answers.
Built for the moments when operators need to act.
Space missions generate growing amounts of data while communication bandwidth remains constrained. Processing information directly where it is generated reduces what needs to be transmitted.
Sensor payloads produce terabytes per orbit. Only a fraction can ever reach the ground, so relevance has to be decided in flight.
Some decisions cannot wait for a downlink window. Onboard inference turns hours of latency into seconds.
Power, thermal budget and compute are all finite. Models are sized and scheduled against the real constraints of the platform.
Flight software must be auditable end to end, built against space-grade standards and verified before it ever leaves the ground.
01
Every downlink window is a bottleneck. Transmitting more data doesn’t mean transmitting more value. Most of what a satellite captures never needs to reach the ground at all. Deciding what’s worth sending down, and what can be processed onboard instead, often makes the difference between a mission that scales and one that doesn’t.
02
Space data comes in different shapes: imagery, telemetry, mission documentation, each growing faster than teams can process manually. Every solution has to handle scale without losing precision. Volume alone isn’t the hard part; keeping accuracy as that volume grows is.
03
Some answers can’t wait. Whether it’s a decision made onboard in milliseconds or an operator needing an answer during an anomaly, timing is part of the problem, not an afterthought. A correct answer that arrives too late can carry the same cost as a wrong one.
04
Every solution runs on infrastructure you control, sized to the resources actually available, from constrained onboard processors to on-premise servers on the ground. That means designing for the hardware a mission actually has, not the hardware that would make the problem easier.
05
Space programs operate under strict data security and compliance requirements. We hold ourselves to the same standard, certified ISO 27001, across every solution we build.
